Hi, I’m Whitney. I’m passionate about telling stories that inspire change. I believe to tell a good story, we must first live a good story. I’m inspired by travel, spending time outdoors and volunteering in my community and abroad.
I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Corporate Communications with an emphasis in nonprofit and double minors in Business and Spanish. I have 10+ years experience at industry-leading brands such as Southwest Airlines and Hilton coupled with global agency experience. I’ve worked with B2C and B2B companies as well as nonprofits on all aspects of content creation and execution. I’m well-versed in crafting and executing comprehensive internal and external communication strategies via organic and paid social media campaigns, blogs, press releases, media alerts and internal communication channels.
I’m most passionate about cause-related work. I’ve built clients’ corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs across the globe from US to India to China. I helped clients identify the “red thread” throughout their programs and ensure this thread is strategically woven throughout all internal and external communications. I’m skilled at creating processes that stick including organizing content development, leveling up campaign results to executive leadership, and partnering with stakeholders on a common goal.
